Daily Routine

Our Routine ( Mon-Wed)

8:00 – 8.30am           Arrival and settling in. Children are welcomed, hang up belonging independently, and choose calm activities.

8.30am                         Morning circle time – greetings, calendar, songs, discussion of the day's activities.

8.45am                         Montessori Work Cycle – uninterrupted child-led learning using Montessori materials, individual and small-group lessons, practical life activities, language, maths, sensorial and cultural work. Free flow snack within this cycle from 10.30am

11am                        Outdoor learning / Forest School / Garden exploration

12pm                     Lunch time

12.30pm                    Rest, relaxation, story time, or quiet activities. Younger children may nap.

1pm                          Outdoor learning / Forest School / Garden exploration

2pm Afternoon Montessori activities, creative arts, music, cooking, cultural studies, or project work.

3pm Reflection circle, songs, stories, sharing achievements from the day.

3.20pm Home time preparation and collection.
